Swabs taken from his face revealed that Kim Jong-nam had been sprayed with VX nerve agent.

Kuala Lumpur: VX, the chemical used in the airport murder of Kim Jong Nam, is one of the deadliest chemical weapons created by mankind. Kim had a home in Macau and was about to fly there when he was killed.

Malaysia Airports managing director Badlisham Ghazali said in the statement that the airport was working with parties such as the health ministry to ensure the safety and security of all passengers.

The wanted men, include a diplomat from the North Korean embassy to Kuala Lumpur, as well as an airline employee.

Given that Malaysia is one of the few friends of North Korea the diplomatic meltdown resulting from this incident has caused concern, particularly given North Korean remarks on its nuclear capabilities in missives presented to the Malaysian authorities.
