Earth Day 2017, Don't turn on the lights this weekend

Through the support of the Department of Interior and Local Government, the Leagues of Municipalities, Cities, and Provinces, the Metro Manila Development Authority, and other government partners, Earth Hour in the Philippines has always been a success. The objective of the initiative is to encourage individuals, businesses, and governments around the world to become more conscious of their ecological footprint and engage in dialog to seek real solutions to our growing environmental challenges.

"We will be joining many cities from around the world using the WWF Earth Hour platform to highlight the urgent need to reduce our carbon emissions and change climate change", Mr Seruiratu said.
