John Krasinski and Emily Blunt Find Horror in A Quiet Place

Popular Hollywood couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, who have been married to each other since 2010, have been roped in to co-star in their first feature film together. Krasinski, who is coming off the success of his drama The Hollars, will also direct and write the script for A Quiet Place, which Variety reports is "set on a farm where a supernatural being has been terrifying a family for some time".

Helming gig: Krasinski, 37, will also direct the film from an original screenplay he is reworking. He previously directed last year's "The Hollars" and "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men" in 2009.

Paramount is producing A Quiet Place with Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company, which has been involved with The Purge and Ouija horror franchises.

Krasinski has experience working with Bay and Platinum Dunes after last starring in Bay's 2016 drama 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
