All Lake-effect Warnings/Advisories in northeast IL will be discontinued as of 4PM this Tuesday afternoon.

"WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES have been posted for all of West Michigan through Tuesday morning as a low pressure system tracking across IN generates about 2" to 4" of snow across our area. Instead of a northwest or westerly wind giving West Michigan lake effect snow, an opposite wind from the east and northeast will deliver heavy lake effect snow on the opposite side of the lake. But because lake-effect bands are only about 10 to 15 miles wide, snow totals can greatly vary over short distances.

Portions of Lake and Porter counties are likely to see four to eight inches of snow.
