Iranian state television quoted Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as making the comment Wednesday during a graduation ceremony for cadets in Iran's Revolutionary Guard in Tehran.

The Leader reiterated that the era of hit and run has ended, reminding the enemies that they might begin a war against Iran, but the decision to end it would not be theirs.

The third goal of the enemy, however, is wider in scope where the prime objective is to eliminate the very (Islamic) establishment by bringing about a change in "behavior", Ayatollah Khamenei said, explaining it as moving away from Islam, the Revolution, and Imam Khomeini.

"The enemies have always been against the factors that fortifies Islamic Republic; one of these features is the IRGC the rage against which is clear in enemies' propaganda and western politicians remarks", Ayatollah Khamenei asserted adding that scientific progress is the other feature the enemies could not tolerate and assassinated Iran's nuclear scientists.

The leader also called on the military and security officials to prepare to tackle measures taken by the enemy aimed at undermining security in Iran. He warned that enemies of Iran seek "to create tension and sedition to disrupt order and security".
