Miley Cyrus drops new song Malibu

Miley's "Malibu" single, which is dedicated to her fiancé Liam Hemsworth, is the first taste of what fans can expect to hear from her as-yet-untitled album, due out later this year.

"I never would've believed you if three years ago you told me, I'd be here writing this song", she sings, referring to the couple's long time apart after their 2013 split.

Miley Cyrus' new single Malibu was released today and not only that, but the music video too. According to Cyrus, the lyrics explains exactly how she feels about her soon to be hubby, because she aspires to have the power in her relationship to share what she wants to the general public.

At their core both are love songs, one about a blossoming, heart-filling relationship that is still unfolding, the other about a tragic affair whose fire still burns. "That was just something that I wanted to do", Cyrus said. Many have taken to the comments section of the song and are talking nice things about Miley Cyrus. Wearing a white frock, the singer had her wavy hair tied up in pigtails. But sharp-eyed viewers will also appreciate a few shots of the video's costar, Cyrus' dog Emu, who is also honored in a tattoo on her arm.

Fans praised the "beautiful" video and her "happier" appearance.
