Bill Cosby Verdict Likely Not Guilty, Say Some Experts

Deliberations began Monday night and ran all the way through this morning.

The judge praised them for being remarkably conscientious as they consider three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault that could put Cosby in prison for the rest of his life.

Jurors asked about the phrasing Tuesday morning during their sixth hour of deliberations, but Judge Steven O'Neill said he couldn't define it for them. "I just thought about it, how would I want to be treated if God forbid I was in that situation?"

"Cosby has [since] denied drugging Constand; though he has admitted to sexual contact between the pair, but as part of a consensual relationship".

Cosby is being charged with drugging and molesting Andrea Constand at his Pennsylvania home in 2004.

On Monday, Bill Cosby did not testify in his own defense at the sexual assault trial. Mr. Cosby refused to take the stand, leaving the case to his lawyer Brian McMonagle who said that, at the time, Bill Cosby was unfaithful to his wife but he had not in any way committed a crime because the #Sexual Activities between his client and #Andrea Constand were consensual. The defense also poked holes in Johnson's testimony, citing discrepancies in her recounting of the alleged incident.

After taking the pills, Constand said, she had trouble talking and difficulty moving and was suffering double vision, before briefly losing consciousness. Many women have come forward indicating the once-popular face of United States sitcom and a Black American icon had taken advantage of his appeal and position to treat them in appropriate ways, without their consent.

Cosby, the star of the 1980s hit TV series "The Cosby Show", did not testify during the trial, but his account of the night in question was shown to jurors in his sworn depositions in 2005 and 2006 during Constand's civil lawsuit as well as a voluntary police interview in 2005.

Bill Cosby and former "Cosby kid" Keshia Knight Pulliam were all smiles at the start of the actor's rape trial on June 5 in Pennsylvania. In the deposition, which became public almost two years ago, Mr. Cosby said he gave Ms. Constand three half-tablets of the cold and allergy medicine Benadryl.

"Cosby's team is trying to plant seeds of doubt about this trial with his fans so they don't abandon him". Cosby then placed her on the couch and sexually assaulted her without her consent, she said. "It wasn't hostile. She didn't push me away, she said stop and I stopped". She explained her support by saying it comes down to how she would feel if she was facing a hard time.

Jurors reviewed more than a dozen passages from Cosby's deposition. Cosby says they enjoyed a mutual "petting" session.

Prosecutors say his prior use of Quaaludes shows that Cosby had knowledge of what he was doing when he gave her the pills.

Jurors appeared exhausted and spent when they made a decision to call it quits late Tuesday after about 16 hours of deliberations.
