Costa Rican prosecutors said in a statement that the suspect is a Colombian citizen who made the threats online.

A Colombian man has been arrested for threatening to attack a concert by Ariana Grande, just weeks after the USA singer's performance in Manchester was decimated by a terrorist atrocity.

The threat follows the May 22 bombing at a Grande performance in Manchester that killed 22 people and injured dozens more.

The concert in the city of Alajuela went ahead as scheduled.

"Our work during this operation was first directed toward verifying whether we were indeed facing an attack threat", said Judicial Investigation Police Director Walter Espinoza, according to the Tico Times. "It was a very sensitive situation", Espinoza told local media, according to CBC. The brunette beauty paid tribute to Saffie last week on what would have been her ninth birthday.
