Mystery of missing Pa. men 'foul play'

DiNardo was released Tuesday evening to his parents' home in Bensalem while Federal Bureau of Investigation agents sifted through mounds of dirt from a deep pit they dug on the farm about 20 miles away, and police cadets combed the vast cornfields nearby.

DiNardo is being held on $1 million bail because he is considered a flight risk, Weintraub said. Authorities suspect foul play in the men's disappearance and have been involved in a widespread #search on a large rural property located north of Philadelphia.

A man, related to the owners of the rural property now being searched, was taken into custody on an unrelated charge on Monday. Mark Sturgis, 22, and Tom Meo, 21, were reported missing late Sunday.

Middletown police said Finocchiaro, who was the second to be reported missing, last was seen about 6:30 p.m. Friday entering a vehicle on Hampton Drive in the township.

"This is a marathon, not a sprint", said Weintraub, promising to release more details as they become available.

The police and Mr. Weintraub's office cast a wide net, searching throughout the county and requesting the public's help on social media.

DiNardo's lawyer and parents did not immediately return messages Monday.

Dinardo's link to the case is his parent's property which has been a main focus of investigators.

When questioned if he thought that DiNardo could have done "this" alone, Weintraub said, "I don't even know what the this is that we're talking about yet".

Also playing are Jon Rahm, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Thomas Pieters. "It's going to be unbelievable playing with Jon Rahm". Beginning the day tied for the lead alongside Im, Rahm holed out from 150 yards to eagle the par-five fourth and move two ahead.

According to an affidavit obtained by NBC10, DiNardo was accused of possessing a 20-gauge shotgun and ammunition in February despite being barred from owning a firearm due to a history of mental illness that included an involuntary commitment. Sturgis' father said the two were friends. "I can't say if there is in fact that type of information but if there is, I beg of you to please give it to us and let us run it down".

"We're going through it with the equivalent of a fine-tooth comb", the district attorney said, noting 40 cadets from the Montgomery County Police Academy were brought to the site today to scour the cornfield for evidence.

"The leads are incredibly hot, they're fruitful, and we are making great progress, but there is so much more work to do", Weintraub told reporters.

At least some of the missing men are friends, but it's unclear how well they knew the property owner's son, Cosmo DiNardo, if at all.

Weintraub confirmed Tuesday the Solebury Township property is the main search site, though other locations have been searched as well.

A person of interest has been arrested and is in police custody in connection to the case of four men who were last seen Friday in Bucks County.

Mr. Weintraub has declined to say whether the men were believed to be alive.

Multiple sources told NBC10 that cellphone tower records in the area have been subpoenaed to see if any of the missing men used their phones in the area over the weekend. Sturgis, Meo and Finocchiaro were last seen on July 7.
