Today is day three of the Taylor Swift trial in Denver

When Mueller first sued Taylor, - which, mind you, was two years after he was sacked - he said that he believed she mistook him for a co-worker of his, who he said described putting his hands on Taylor's bottom while they were taking their photo. When a Swift employee ushered Mueller into a booth for a routine photo shoot, the singer bonded more intensely with his girlfriend, fellow KYGO employee Shannon Melcher.

In addition, Baldridge quoted a deposition by Swift's photographer Stephanie Simbeck, who said Swift uttered "that guy" had grabbed her behind.

"Let's be clear about something from the onset - inappropriate touching is offensive, it's wrong and should never be tolerated", Mueller's lawyer, Gabriel McFarland, told jurors.

During Mueller's testimony, Swift listened with her chin resting in her hand.

A photo of the incident, in which Mueller's hand is positioned out of sight but behind Swift, was shown during opening statements and multiple times throughout Tuesday's testimony from Mueller.

The former radio host testified in front of an eight-person jury - selected Tuesday after attorneys attempted to weed out Swift fans earlier this week - as the singer-songwriter sat in the courtroom with her mother, Andrea Swift, whom Mueller also names in his $3-million lawsuit.

Swift, one of the most successful contemporary music artists, earned $170 million between June 2015 and June 2016, following a world tour and her best-selling "1989" album, Forbes Magazine said.

The Colorado radio personality sued, claiming Taylor falsely accused him of the groping and pressured station management to fire him from his $150,000-a-year job.

With Swift and her mother, Andrea Swift, present, Mueller told the jury of six women and two men that he was sacked from his job even after he was "100 percent clear" with his managers that he did not grope Taylor.

Eggs contaminated with 'potentially harmful' pesticide being sold in UK
Belgian and Dutch authorities are now investigating how the insecticide came into illegal contact with egg-laying chickens. Photo Farm workers discarded eggs in Onstwedde, the Netherlands, last week after concern about insecticide contamination.

Taylor Swift is no stranger to making empowering statements, but she is using an unconventional method to send a message this week: a lawsuit.

According to her lawyer, Swift is absolutely certain she was sexually assaulted - and he asked why the singer would ever make up such a claim. She was 23 at the time of the alleged assault.

He also said that he hadn't touched her butt and said that, if anything, he had accidentally touched her "ribcage or ribs".

The trial continues, and is expected to last two weeks.

And if Swift is awarded additional damages, she plans to donate the money to causes "dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard" (per CNN).

But when Swift's attorney, J. Doug Baldridge, took over to cross-examine Mueller, Mueller was immediately put on the defensive.

Their arms had touched when they tried to get together for the photo, Mueller claimed, and he "may have" brushed his fist against what he thought were her ribs.

Baldridge, though, said Mueller "grabbed my client's rear end, plain and simple" and concluded, "it's not 'inapproriate touching.' It was assault".
