ISLAMABAD-Pakistan's former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, failed to appear before an antigraft tribunal on Monday, where he was to be indicted on corruption charges along with several family members and co-defendants.

On October 2, the accountability court had issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Sharif's sons and Captain Safdar for failing to appear on previous hearings despite notices.

Ousted Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharifs two sons, now in London, may not appear before the anti-corruption court, taking advantage of their foreign residency, leaders of the ruling PML-N have indicated.
