TMZ reports that Paddock had booked two rooms at the Blackstone Hotel overlooking Lollapalooza, which took place in the first weekend of August.

The shooter's room in Chicago was at Blackstone Hotel, according to TMZ, located alongside Grant Park.

According to the NBC report, Boston police were aware of the reports and were working with federal officials. The 3 days festival ran from September 22 to September 24, it featured Chance the Rapper, Lorde and Blink 182.

Authorities discovered earlier this week that Paddock had also rented a room at The Ogden hotel, a 21-story high-rise, The Las Vegas Review Journal reported.

The gunman behind the mass shooting at an open-air festival in Las Vegas had reserved rooms overlooking music venues at other sites, investigators say.

Ms Danley, who officials have called a "person of interest", said that Paddock had surprised her with a plane ticket to see her family just over two weeks ago.
