Cowboys waive RB Darren McFadden, report says

"I wish my boys good luck", McFadden tweeted after being released.

The Dallas Cowboys released running back Darren McFadden on Sunday and it appears that McFadden won't be the only casualty of the upcoming week. The 30-year-old was buried under Alfred Morris and Rod Smith on the depth chart and clearly did not appeal to Dallas coaches as a potential spark for the offense.

McFadden has been active once this season. The Cowboys may not even be dressing him considering the way things have gone for Darren McFadden. On Nov. 15, Elliott withdrew his appeal of the six-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy due to domestic violence allegations.

McFadden, 30, has 85 total rushing yards the past two seasons after finishing fourth in the National Football League with 1,089 rushing yards in his first year with the Cowboys in 2015. He was limited to three games last season because he broke his elbow during the offseason.
