As GOP senators and governors continued to repudiate Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore over allegations that he had sexual contact with teenage girls while he was in his 30s, White House aides appeared on Sunday morning televsion to bash the candidate, too - but with some telling caveats.

Moore, an outspoken Christian conservative, has attacked the Washington Post report as "completely false and misleading".
