Jeremy Piven's 'Wisdom of the Crowd' Done After 13 Episodes on CBS

Jeremy Piven announced via Twitter on Monday that CBS canceled his crowdsourcing crime drama Wisdom of the Crowd.

For any fans of the show, which has aired nine episodes so far, the story will likely somewhat wrap up before it fulfills its 13-episode order.

There is no word at present what will air in place of "Wisdom of the Crowd" on Sunday. When the allegations first surfaced, CBS declined to broadcast an interview of Piven on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert", which was scheduled to air November 3. "Proud of the work we did", he added, saying that the episodes will be finished "with full hearts". Its latest live-plus-3 averages only give it a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 and 8.9 million viewers.

Nebraska fires Mike Riley after three mostly unsuccessful seasons
Nebraska has not offered the job to anyone, which would includes Frost despite reports he's a "done deal" to return to Lincoln. At his press conference Saturday afternoon, Moos was asked about one potential candidate to replace Riley: Scott Frost.

The drama, which is from Universal Television and CBS Television Studios, follows Piven as a tech genius who creates a crowd-sourcing hub to revolutionise crime fighting. A third accuser, advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby, came forward on November 9, detailing a forced encounter with Piven in 2003. In response, the actor issued a statement vehemently denying that the incident ever took place, while CBS asserted that it was looking into the allegations.

Most recently, actress Anastasia Taneie told BuzzFeed News in an article published last week that Piven groped her on the set of "Entourage" in 2009. Freshman sitcom "Me, Myself and I" was canceled earlier this season. "I can not speak as to why a person would create a story like this".
