Grammy Awards victor Taylor Swift is celebrating the success of her latest album "Reputation" that dominates Billboard 200 at number 1. Yet neither of their new albums were recognized when the Recording Academy announced the 2018 slate of Grammy nominees on Tuesday morning.

Despite Reputation's omission, Swift still has a handful of chances to bring home a coveted Gramophone trophy on January 28-and the odds appear ever in her favor. As explained on the official Grammys website, "for the 60th Annual Grammys Awards, albums must be released between October 1, 2016, and September 30, 2017".

That means that The Thrill of It All and Reputation, which dropped November 3 and 10, respectively, are ineligible in 2018. "That number is nearly entirely traditional album sales, as the LP is still mostly unavailable for streaming, except for its four singles, "Look What You Made Me Do", ".Ready For It", "Gorgeous", and "Call It What You Want". "Ready for It?" (Sept. 3) - were eligible but did not receive nods.

Researchers Say New Species Are Evolving at an Unbelievable Rate
The original breeding pair's offspring were unable to persuade other species to mate with them so bred between themselves. New lineages like the Big Birds have originated many times during the evolution of Darwin's finches, the authors say.

Still, Taylor managed to score a couple of nominations unrelated to Reputation: "Better Man", the song she co-wrote with Little Big Town, is up for Best Country Song, and "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", her Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack contribution with Zayn Malik, is nominated for Best Song Written For Visual Media.

According to Billboard, the album is an instant success with equivalent to 256,000 album sales so far. It also happens to be the first album by a woman to be at the top of the chart for over a week within the past year and a half.

Simultaneously, albums from late 2016 - including Bruno Mars' 24K Magic (Nov. 18, 2016) and Childish Gambino's Awaken, My Love! With no new music eligible for any nominations and his notorious dislike of the Grammys, it seems unlikely the rapper will bother to show. And Taylor and Sam: We'll (likely) see you in 2019.
