Woman alleges Franken inappropriately touched her at state fair; senator responds

A second woman came forward on Monday to accuse Minnesota Sen.

On Monday, CNN reported that 33-year-old Lindsay Menz from Frisco, Texas, told the network after Tweeden's announcement that she had her own "uncomfortable" interaction with Franken.

Franken came by, she said, "pulled me in really close, like awkward close, and as my husband took the picture, he put his hand full-fledged on my rear".

"It was wrapped tightly around my butt cheek", she said". Al Franken grabbed her inappropriately while she posed with him for a photo in 2010. It wasn't around my hip or side. She said the "brazen" act lasted three to four seconds: "I was like, oh my God, what's happening".

CNN reports that immediately after the picture of Menz and Franken at the state fair was posted to Facebook, Menz commented, saying, "Dude - Al Franken TOTALLY molested me!" Franken, already a senator for two years, reportedly came in during an event and the two chose to take a photo together.

"I feel badly that Ms. Menz came away from our interaction feeling disrespected".

Al Franken, D-Minn., days after a radio host accused the lawmaker of forcibly kissing and groping her more than a decade ago. She provided a photo of Franken groping her while she was asleep on a military aircraft. It was over pretty quick.

Menz reached out to CNN with her story shortly after Tweeden's allegations became public. "I look at it now and I feel disgusted with myself". "I respect women. I don't respect men who don't", he said regarding the first episode with Tweeden.

In the photo of Menz and Franken, the lower halves of their bodies are not shown.

Donald Trump, who has been accused of sexual assault by at least 16 women, criticized Franken in a series of tweets last week.

She said a friend encouraged her to talk to CNN. She said she has equally supported Republican and Democratic candidates.
