Roy Moore accuser Beverly Young Nelson: 'I pray that he's changed'

Seven women have come forward to accuse the former Alabama Supreme Court judge of sexual misconduct decades ago.

The Nelson accusation had bolstered claims by other women that Moore sought relationships with teenage girls in the late 1970s.

Allred also said today that she believes Nelson's life is in danger since she made the allegation. The inscription says: "To a sweeter, more attractive girl I could not say Merry Christmas".

Mr Trump tweeted on Friday: "VOTE ROY MOORE!".

Nelson said that she originally met Moore when he was a 30-year-old deputy district attorney in Etowah County and would regularly eat at a restaurant in Gadsden called Olde Hickory House.

"Beverly, he did sign your yearbook?"

"He did sign it", Nelson replied.

ABC News did not ask Nelson specifically what notes she added.

Several Moore supporters have claimed that Ms Nelson may have committed fraud.

Beverly Young Nelson, who says Moore sexually assaulted her when she was 16, presented to the public a yearbook inscription she says he wrote to her on November 13, 1977. "Will media report or overlook this one on Sunday talk shows??"

"Let's count how many national outlets will ignore the fact that she admits to lying", Moore wrote on Twitter. Her new admission about date and place, however, isn't playing well online. We don't know. And then again I hope that he's changed.

"And you made some notes underneath", Llamas said.

"These allegations are completely false", Moore said.

"We think it's important evidence that supports Beverly's statements that Roy Moore asked to sign her yearbook when she was just 16 years old", Allred said at the press conference, AL.com reported.

At her original press conference with Allred, Nelson claimed that Moore wrote the entire yearbook inscription.

Nelson tells a different story.

Jauregui said he has known Moore for more than 24 years and has never witnessed Moore acting "remotely inappropriate".

Jauregui said the allegation has been painful.

Beverly Young Nelson now says part of the inscription near Roy Moore's signature was not written by Moore.

The Moore campaign previously attacked the credibility of Nelson's account by pointing out the difference in writing styles in the inscription.

Allred did not say when Nelson wrote the additional words into the yearbook.

The seat has been held temporarily by appointed Sen.

President Trump officially endorsed Moore on Monday and will attend a campaign rally Friday night in Pensacola, Fla., about 20 miles from the Alabama border.
