Murray to face Harrison in Brisbane second round

Andy Murray has hinted he may not be able to recapture the form that made him world No 1 as he bids to return from hip surgery at the Brisbane International. I don't mind if it's 30 in the world level.

Murray was not due to play his first match in Brisbane until Thursday but opted out of the tournament after failing to train on Tuesday.

"I feel I need to play matches to see exactly where it's at".

'I want to enjoy playing again, ' Murray said at a press conference. I didn't realise until these last few months just how much I love this game.

Krunic rallied from 5-2 down in the second set, forcing the third in a tiebreaker, and earned a spot in the quarterfinals with a a 5-7, 7-6 (3), 1-2 retired result after nearly 2 ½ hours in humid conditions on Pat Rafter Arena.

Murray, who is in Queensland for the season-opening Brisbane International, has not played on the ATP tour since losing a tough five-setter to American Sam Querrey in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon. "The rest of my body feels really good".

The forthcoming clash between the players will be the first since the first round of the 2012 Australian Open, when Murray had to come from a set down to kick-start a campaign that eventually saw him reach the semi-finals.

He's not the only leading player trying to overcome injury, with top-ranked Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic also trying to recover in time for the Australian Open.

While it was bad new for the British No. 1, compatriot Kyle Edmund got off to a good start in Brisbane by beating talented teenager Denis Shapovalov to advance to the last-16.
