A manhunt is underway for a MI woman and her boyfriend charged in the death of the woman's 4-year-old daughter, who suffered injuries that included severe burns on her arms and legs.

Diaz told cops Fields punched her and smashed her phone before turning the gun on himself and blowing a whole in his leg, shouting "see if you can outrun these bullets", according to the report.

According to the information provided by the police on their Facebook page, they responded to a 911 call about an unresponsive four-year-old girl in a house on Greenmeadow Drive, inside the Rawsonville Woods Mobile Home Community. After the arrived, CPR was being administered by family members and officers found the girl suffering from "obvious severe burns about her extremities".

Gabby was rushed to St Joseph Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

The Washtenaw County (Mich.) Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide with evidence of multiple traumatic injuries and battered-child syndrome - meaning she suffered multiple injuries, at multiple sites, at multiple ages.

The pair are believed to be traveling in a 2002 Chevy Cavalier with the MI license plate DTR1854.

Fields and Diaz are charged with felony murder, second-degree murder, and first-degree child abuse and torture, according to a press release issued Monday, Jan. 8, from the Sumpter Township Police Department.
