Donald Trump Lashes Out at #MeToo Movement ... People Deserve Due Process

President Donald Trump is bemoaning what he believes is a lack of due process for "someone falsely accused".

This past week, while the White House was quickly sinking into a wave of recriminations over how much top administration officials knew about a senior aide's history of domestic violence, Trump himself was personally fuming over the appearance that his people had mishandled the response-that they looked weak in their reaction.

Trump just tweeted, "Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation".

In the tweet on Saturday, Trump wrote that "some [allegations] are true and some are false".

His comments come in the wake of the resignation of two White House staffers - David Sorensen and Rob Porter.

"It's a, obviously, tough time for him".

The National Organization of Women is calling on the chief of staff to resign as pressure continues to build over when he knew about the allegations; Kevin Corke has the roundup for 'Special Report'. "Porter despite the fact he could not get a security clearance and that you were aware of the specific domestic violence allegations made against him".

Kelly was brought into the West Wing to bring calm to Trump's tumultuous operation but recently has created some of his own chaos, rattling aides and lawmakers with inflammatory remarks and political missteps.

Lindsey Vonn overcomes grief to reach Olympics
Linsdey Vonn has been an Olympian since she was a teenager. "I get annoying to my coaches", she continued with a chuckle. She won a bronze in that event at Vancouver in 2010 and a gold in the downhill.

Erin Hamlin selected to be opening ceremony flag bearer
Hamlin won a coin toss, which was the predetermined method of picking a victor if all else failed in the athlete-led process. The coin toss is never anyone's preferred outcome, and it's not like Olympic federations are above accusations of shadiness.

PM Modi arrives in Jordan during his three-nation West Asia tour
PM Modi's Palestine visit comes just weeks after he hosted Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu in Delhi and his home state, Gujarat. More than nine million Indians work and live in the Gulf region, of which about one third live in the UAE alone.

The two strong-willed men have clashed and Trump has begun floating possible names for a future chief of staff in conversations with outside advisers, according to three people with knowledge of the conversations.

President Donald Trump, furious over the handling of domestic abuse allegations involving one of his closest aides, has spoken to confidantes about the possibility of replacing embattled Chief of Staff John Kelly, sources close to the president tell ABC News.

"And hopefully he will have a great career ahead of him", he added. But in the case of Porter, it was Kelly's management of the staff that is in question.

As the aftershocks of the accusations against Porter reverberated for a fifth day, Trump stayed out of sight on a rainy Saturday in Washington and tweeted along while watching Fox News shows.

He added, "Although I had hoped to never have to think about or discuss the woman who spent years physically attacking, threatening and lying about me - and relentlessly and cruelly bombarding me with unimaginable fits of rage - this incident is an opportunity to highlight the grossly underreported and unacknowledged issue of female-on-male domestic violence".

That was a reference to allegations by more than a dozen women that Trump had sexually abused or harassed them.

"General Kelly has not offered his resignation to the President", White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley said in a statement.

Speier, who praised the bipartisan effort to act quickly on sexual harassment, said she's disappointed her Republican colleagues haven't spoken out against Trump's comments. Kelly, along with Porter, helped organize the West Wing's policy and decision-making process and infused the staff with a clearer sense of goal, officials said. Porter's former girl friend spoke to Mr. Kelly about the allegations in October. "He said, 'I saw that all over the news today - I have faith in him, ' and he does".
