United States Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has been forced to cancel today's activities in Kenya because he might be feeling unwell.

Even though the secretary's illness was not clarified by officials alongside him, it is believed that his condition is not critical.

During the trip he has also been involved behind the scenes in discussions within the administration on a possible meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

The U.S. Secretary of State was also expected to meet with American diplomats serving at the new U.S. Embassy.

Officials accompanying Mr Tillerson, 65, on his five-nation tour of Africa did not specify his illness but it is understood not to be serious.
