UFC star Conor McGregor bailed on assault charges

UFC star Conor McGregor has been released on $US50,000 ($A65,000) bail until June 14 after appearing in a NY court charged with assault.

The 29-year-old could have his travel restricted by the judge following his charges, and he was at least still in New York at the hotel following the dispute at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. McGregor showed up at Barclays Center with dozens of his friends and wreaked havoc in the loading dock area.

MMA Fighting reported McGregor's team attacked a van filled with fighters just as it was departing the arena, banging on the vehicle and throwing chairs through a window.

"What the fuck", Chiesa said in the video, as blood ran down his face.

A warrant was later issued for McGregor's arrest before he turned himself in on Thursday night.

He spoke only to acknowledge that he understood the conditions of his release, saying, "Yes, your honour".

After a insane 24 hours, Conor McGregor is now out on bail and free to return to Ireland should he desire to.

A court date has not been set.

"Conor is in a lot of trouble".

What next for Conor McGregor?

McGregor, a former lightweight and featherweight champion in UFC, has become one of the stars of his sport, best known for his antics and bravado leading up to fights.

Cyclist dies in Paris-Roubaix tragedy
In 2017, almost half of the riders did not make it to the finish in the Roubaix Velodrome. Goolaerts' Veranda's Willems-Crelan team said Goolaerts was evacuated by helicopter.

Sugar tax comes into effect in the UK
I don't know what the scale of sugar tax avoidance is likely to be, it really depends on how it is sold and the routes to market. Sprite cut its sugar content from 6.6g per 100ml to 3.3g, while Irn Bru more than halved its sugar, going from 10.3g to 4.7g.

Facebook's "unsend" message tool to go public
The Sony messages included disparaging remarks about movie stars and other people in the entertainment industry. And adds that Facebook will stop deleting Mark Zuckerberg's messages until all users can do the same.

McGregor has now been charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief. His bail was set at $25,000.

White accused the Irish star and other men of "storming the building" on Thursday.

Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg were both pulled from the fight because of injuries suffered on the bus from McGregor's shenanigans.

UFC President Dana White told ESPN on Friday that a UFC fighter on the bus was hit and cut by a dolly thrown through the window, and that another fighter had the cornea of his eyes cut as the glass broke into dust-like material.

In the underbelly of a NY arena 17 months later, McGregor went wild, using a dolly, chairs and guard rails as weapons, not his fists.

The Irishman reportedly pocketed around $100 million for the superfight he lost in August in Las Vegas against ex-welterweight champion boxer Floyd Mayweather.

Their matchup was one of the richest boxing bouts of all time.

How the altercation actually started remains to be unclear, though, obviously, McGregor and Nurmagomedov have a history.

A new UFC video surfaced Sunday showing even more shocking footage from McGregor's rampage.

McGregor reacted angrily to the decision on social media. And early Thursday morning, McGregor tweeted "You's'll strip me of nothing you's do nothing c-s".
