Wilder ready to fight Joshua this year

Boxing fans around the world will hope Joshua secures a huge unification fight against Wilder next.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, said on Sunday morning that there was an opportunity for a Wilder fight before Joshua must defend three other belts against mandatory challengers.

"The only way to do that would be in the ring against Anthony Joshua, and he should keep those comments to himself".

A fight with the undefeated WBC champion Wilder (40 wins, 39 KOs), would see the heavyweight division unified for the first time in history. Russian Alexander Povetkin, who knocked Englishman David Price unconscious at the Principality Stadium, is the mandatory WBO champion, with Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev next on the list as far as the IBF is concerned.

They are in agreement that Joshua and Wilder are the two best heavyweights in the world and the victor of their fight will be bigger than any alphabet title. "Anthony, I am so glad we finally heard from you on Saturday and that you want to fight me as your next opponent and you want the fight to happen in the UK", Wilder said. Joshua has so far had all 21 fights in the United Kingdom and his last three bouts have pulled in crowds of 90,000, 78,000 and 78,000 again.

Wilder's co-manager, Shelly Finkel, said on Monday that the American was ready to travel across the Atlantic for the bout.

Warnings remain with more rain and snow forecast
The snow refused to call it quits Monday morning as it taunted long-suffering New Yorkers with another potentially messy commute. That rain is out ahead of a warm front that breaks through Wednesday morning, allowing for a mild and breezy day.

After mocking Parkland shooting survivor, advertisers drop Laura Ingraham
On Thursday, Ingraham offered an apology, though she did not mention anything about her show's hemorrhaging revenue. It may yet come to pass that the next unintended casualty of Nikolas Cruz's rampage is Laura Ingraham's career.

Defamation case filed against Rahul
Following the conclusion of the exams, the Board decided for retests in the two subjects affecting around 28 lakh students. Meanwhile, the crime branch of Delhi Police has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the case.

"The longer Tyson Fury leaves it, the more hard a challenge Anthony Joshua poses". Joshua had some success landing his right uppercut but it too was more quiet than usual because of Parker's insistence on keeping the fight measured and at long range.

Joshua stopped Breazeale when the two fought two years ago and Hearn believes that his withdrawal from an IBF elimination fight with Kubrat Pulev stems from a possible fight with Wilder. Despite his age, Povetkin would be arguably one of the most risky challenger's to Joshua's reign if a bout between them goes ahead.

Bunce agreed, saying: "I'm not even sure you needed the very best of Tyson Fury tonight to beat that". Firstly I wouldn't rule out a rematch between him and Joshua.

"Been dying to see my daughter so want to see her and my partner".

PARKER IS ONE TOUGH COOKIE: The Kiwi gave away six inches in reach and six pounds in weight but gave nothing away in fight and determination. "I am the baddest man in the world, the baddest man on the planet, and that's fact".
