Morgan Freeman apologises for his behaviour after being accused of sexual harassment

Freeman apologised to "anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected".

CNN revealed yesterday that they had spoken with eight people who say they were harassed on film sets or on promotional tours, and eight others who say they witnessed Freeman's alleged inappropriate behavior.

The woman in the video is an entertainment reporter Chicago's WGN-TV, Tyra Martin, who interviewed Freeman many times over a 10 year period. He never successfully lifted her skirt, she said - he would touch it and try to lift it, she would move away, and then he'd try again. She claims his co-star, Alan Arkin, eventually told him to stop, and Freeman "got freaked out and didn't know what to say".

Meanwhile another woman came forward to further discuss about the instructions everyone received during the shoot of the 2013 film You See Me Now, which also had Freeman in a pivotal role. His remarks reportedly included, "I wish I was there", and "You are ripe", Melas said.

The women include production workers who encountered Freeman on movie sets and entertainment journalists, including CNN's Chloe Melas and a Hollywood Foreign Press Association journalist.

She said what followed was months of harassment at the hands of Freeman, including unwanted touching and comments about her figure. She reportedly averred that he did comment on their bodies.
