Trump reportedly told Sessions to reverse recusal in Russian Federation probe

The president tweets that "young and beautiful" lives have been destroyed by the Mueller probe; talk radio host Chris Stigall reacts.

President Trump pressured Attorney General Jeff Sessions to reverse his decision to recuse himself from oversight of the Russian Federation investigation and special counsel Robert Mueller is now probing that exchange, according to a report from the New York Times. In addition to the conversation with Sessions, he has also looked into the firing of former FBI Director James Comey. "There was no Collusion, except by the Democrats".

The newspaper reported Tuesday that when Sessions flew down to Florida to have dinner with the President at his Mar-a-Lago resort in March 2017, Trump berated Sessions about his decision and asked him to rescind it, a request Sessions declined.

The president fired off six tweets touching on an array of topics, like an upcoming potential North Korea summit, and again accused Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team of investigators of being "13 Angry Democrats" who meant to affect the midterm elections this fall. It's a Rigged Witch Hunt, that's why!

"I don't think they would have asked to interview him until they are pretty much finished with everything", Giuliani said.

"13 Angry Democrats" is a term Trump is using to refer to the investigators on Mueller's team - though the political affiliation of those involved in the probe is not officially clear. At least nine have donated to Democratic candidates and causes.

Earlier Tuesday, Trump lashed out at the "Rigged Russia Witch Hunt" on Twitter, casting Mueller's probe as partisan and saying it could amount to "MEDDLING" in this year's midterm elections to the detriment of Republicans.

"With Spies, or "Informants" as the Democrats like to call them because it sounds less sinister (but it's not), all over my campaign, even from a very early date, why didn't the crooked highest levels of the Federal Bureau of Investigation or "Justice" contact me to tell me of the phony Russian Federation problem?" the president tweeted last week.

The Justice Department declined a request for comment.

"So how do you like the fact they had people infiltrating our campaign", Trump told supporters. Trump has dubbed the conspiracy "Spygate".
