Celtics Have Reportedly Made Another Trade Offer For Kawhi Leonard

The Cleveland Cavaliers are apparently willing to make big moves in free agency and on the trade market to convince LeBron James to remain with the franchise, but LeBron is making life hard for them by not discussing what would make him happy. The Celtics, Cavaliers, 76ers and Clippers have all made offers for Leonard, while the Lakers never made a formal offer after feeling that the Spurs "shut the door on us", a source told ESPN.

The Spurs have wanted to find a way to fix the franchise's relationship with Leonard, but an overwhelming Lakers offer could convince San Antonio to part with its franchise star, league sources said. "I think the people's MVP was definitely James [Harden], but the NBA MVP is definitely LeBron [James]".

The price of making a Leonard deal happen could be a steep one for the Lakers.

Shortly after James led the Cleveland Cavaliers over his Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Irving shared some kind words about LeBron after James Harden surprisingly earned 86 of 101 first-place votes to capture the NBA MVP award.

Conversely, the Cavs are also looking for ways to entice LeBron James to pick up his option and stay for at least one more year with the team. This summer's free agency period is fixated on where LeBron James and Paul George will land. George had only one season remaining on his deal when the Pacers traded him last summer.

"I'm Magic Johnson, I'm still the same dude", Johnson said.

Earlier this month, former National Basketball Association star Gary Payton revealed that Bronny had "committed" to playing for Sierra Canyon, a prestigious private high school in the Los Angeles area.

However, if James and George say no to the purple and gold, it may not be an entirely bad idea for the Lakers to take a flyer on Cousins.

Those comments came after Irving publicly didn't rule out playing alongside James once again at some point in his career. This would presumably make the Lakers' pitch to LeBron that much more enticing.
