Pixel 3 XL leaks show Google's new notch and possible wireless charging

Shared by xda-developers forum user "dr.guru", the shots depict a device with an all-white backside that has a single camera, fingerprint reader, and a logo we've seen on previous Google prototype hardware.

We know that Google is preparing to launch a couple of Pixel 3 phones later this year, and now there are hints that a Pixel Stand charging dock is on the way too. This is the Clearly White version, expected to be one of the few variants offered by both Pixel 3 handsets later this year.

But Google may have more surprises under its sleeve aside from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. On the front we've got a considerable notch at the top, housing cameras and one of the front-facing speakers, while on the bottom there's a noticeable bezel which and the second front-facing speaker.

The Google Pixel 3 probably has no headphone jack, and runs with the "notch" trend up front.

The leaker confirmed that the back of the phone is "totally glass", as earlier rumors have indicated.

The phone, however, doesn't boot up, as Google has wiped it remotely.

We also heard from 9to5Google about a docking device called the Pixel Stand, which, from an APK teardown of the Google app, sounds like it'll hold your phone and keep Google Assistant on standby to display suggestions and answer questions.

If Google runs with the schedule they've had in the past, they'll reveal the Google Pixel 3 at the beginning of October 2018. Other information mentioned on the screen shows that this particular model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

We'll surely see additional leaks concerning the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in the weeks to come.
