"If you would've put me with any other quarterback, let's be real, you know what I'm saying?"

Benjamin, a first-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in the 2014 NFL Draft, recently took shots at his former team in an interview with The Athletic.

Earlier this week, Kelvin Benjamin had a bunch to say about the Carolina Panthers, most notably Cam Newton, who he had as his quarterback during his 1st three and a half National Football League seasons. Anybody! Quarterbacks with knowledge, who know how to place a ball and give you a better chance to catch the ball.

Initially, Newton's only response, posted in a video to social media, was to say that he wasn't "gonna go back and forth with him" but continue to "work".

Newton walked over to talk to Benjamin as the Bills receiver was talking to Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis.

It's apparent that Benjamin harbors much more frustration from the situation than Newton.

"Moving on from it", Benjamin said repeatedly. We have a lot of respect for our opponents, No. 1, and everyone in the league.

What either player said is unknown, but it really didn't look like two old friends joking around before a game in which the Panthers prevailed 28-23. Still, Benjamin should keep his comments in check, and Newton shouldn't waste time trying to shake a hand that dropped so many catchable balls over the years.
