Shares of electric auto maker Tesla Inc. tumbled over 9 percent as the markets opened today after the CEO smoked marijuana during a YouTube video podcast and the company's accounting chief left after a month on the job.

I'm not a regular smoker of weed. They have fallen about 18% since Musk's tweet on taking the company private on 7 August.

The aura of weed has surrounded Musk before.
