Both Feustel and Arnold completed several spacewalks which took them beyond the confines of the ISS and into the vacuum of space.

Currently, Roscosmos is investigating a small drill hole that was discovered in a remote area of the station that caused a loss of pressure on board last month, but no major damage or loss of life.

Station crew members traced the hole to the Soyuz, and quickly patched it inside with gauze and epoxy, after ground teams detected a slight loss of station pressure on August 29.

But NASA said today that Rogosin's statement did not necessarily mean the hole was caused by sabotage.

Three astronauts, who spent 197 days on the International Space Station as part of Expedition 56, touched down in Kazakhstan on October 4. He stated on the air of Channel One Russia that the crew of the ISS will go out to outer space to identify the perpetrators.

"To me and for our nation it was really important (those lessons) weren't lost", he said.
