It is the second royal wedding of the year to be hosted in the small royal town in southeast England after Prince Harry married his American bride, actress Meghan Markle there in May.

"With great excitement I am able to announce that I will be making the wedding cake for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank", Cabot posted on Instagram. It was not certain whether the 92-year-old queen's husband Prince Philip, 97, who no longer carries out official duties, would be present.

In the US, you can watch the royal wedding live on the pay channel TLC.

Bridesmaids Princess Charlotte, Savannah Phillips, Isla Phillips, Mia Tindall, Maud Windsor, Theodora Williams joined page boys Prince George, Louis de Givenchy, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and Viscount Severn on the steps of St George's Chapel. Eugenie's older sister Beatrice, 30, will be her maid of honour. They are the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who are divorced but enjoy an amicable relationship.

To add a little extra star-power to the proceedings, Robbie Williams's six-year-old daughter, Teddy was also a bridesmaid, according to Hello magazine. Prince Charles' wife, Camilla, missed the wedding because of other commitments.

Ahead of her big day she spoke of the importance of showing "people your scars" as she paid tribute to the hospital which performed surgery on her back as a child.

Writing in the Times newspaper, commentator Matthew Bell said the grandeur of the wedding showed Prince Andrew's desire to cement his family's royal status.

The gown's low back was purposefully created to show off Eugenie's scar from her childhood spinal surgery, while its jacquard fabric included a motif of Scottish thistle, Irish shamrocks, the York rose and ivy to represent the bride and groom's families and home. This has led to raised eyebrows over the couple's decision to copy Harry and Meghan with an open-topped carriage ride through Windsor, requiring road closures and an estimated £2m policing bill.

"Wearing white or any shade of white to a wedding is commonly considered a huge no-no - even more so for a royal wedding", she said.

The couple invited 1,200 members of the public to come onto the castle grounds for a closer glimpse of proceedings.
